Emergency Aid Relief for Afghanistan’s Earthquake Victims 2022

Yesterday morning, a powerful 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck our homeland, Afghanistan, taking away the lives of over 1,000 civilians and leaving nearly 1,500 individuals injured in provinces such as Paktika and Khost. In addition, several homes were destroyed, leaving many families without homes to live in. This horrific disaster already adds to acute hardship in our homeland, Afghanistan, a country in the grip of a worsening humanitarian and economic crisis.

In response to the devastating earthquake that happened yesterday in our homeland, Afghanistan, CWB in collaboration with the Canadian Afghan Lawyers Association will be on the grounds of distributing emergency aid food packages and emergency medical funds to the families who were heavily affected by this heartbreaking incident.

What will be distributed?
With your generous donations, we will provide emergency aid relief packages to the families who were severely affected by this tragic incident. The packages will include emergency medical treatment funds and grocery supplies that will include items such as:

* Rice (25kg)
* Oil (10 Litres)
* Beans (4kg)
* Chickpeas (4kg)
* Flour (40kg)
* Sugar (1kg)
* Salt (5 Packs)
* Tea (1kg)
* Other basic essential food items
