CWB has hosted its first ever Afghan Spelling Bee Competition in April 2018. The outcome was beyond our expectation. We had contestants not only from the Afghan community but from India, Pakistan and Tamil communities. We had our dedicated judges Suleiman Firmly, Yalda M Firmly, Yelda Nuri and Tariq Fahimi from the Afghan community as well.  Our passionate team members Zabi Wakeely, Fariah Saidi and Mursal Tahiri had put strong effort into this event including our host Mustafa Saamy and our volunteer Mujtaba Walid.

Secondly a huge thank you to our media partners: OMID 24 TV, Television Of People and Nayab Magazine. We would also like to thank Acceio Pickering for giving all the participants loot bags that included school supply.
