Mission, Vision, and Objectives

Mission

Decades of war, has left thousands of families without a breadwinner, hence, the younger generation, has been forced to take on the roles and provide for their families. CWB’s mission is to be a bridge connecting the donors to the most vulnerable families whose children are engaged in child labour and/or at risk of becoming one.

Vision

CWB’s vision is to address and eradicate child labour in Afghanistan by providing access to education and financial assistance to poverty-stricken families for the purposes of reviving and rebuilding Afghanistan.

Objectives

  • To form a trusted platform for donors to support children who are engaged and/or at risk of being engaged in child labour in Afghanistan.
  • To establish relationships with educational institutes in Afghanistan.
  • To establish relationships with educational institutes in Canada;
  • To perform a consulting/advisory role in support of education-related projects in Afghanistan.
  • To perform a consulting/advisory role in support of Canadian education- related projects for Afghanistan.
  • To facilitate the academic exchange in the area of education in Afghanistan and Canada.
  • To promote and facilitate business interactions related to the education industry in cooperation with relevant organizations.
  • To promote and facilitate education- related conferences, seminars, panel discussions in person or by electronic means.
