Naqib Sarwary is the fundraising advisor at Children Without Borders and helps develop fundraising goals, fundraising campaigns, plans for donor acquisition, engagement, and stewardship. He joined CWB in May 2018. Naqib’s primary motive for being in CWB is to help give Afghan children their stolen childhood back.
Naqib has studied International & Comparative Politics at American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan) and Bard College (New York). He also holds a certificate in fundraising from George Brown College of Toronto.
He currently works as Stewardship Associate for Amnesty International. He has previously worked for Human Rights Watch Headquarters in New York City, UN Women in Bishkek, American Councils for International Education, Nejat Social Council in Afghanistan, and has founded the Summer Camp Afghanistan.
